06 / Legal information
Your data.
Clear principles.
How the local enquiry builder works, how correspondence is handled, and which technical data is involved in visiting this website.
01 / Controller
Who is responsible for your data?
The controller of personal data provided in correspondence is FITTER-SERVICE Grzegorz Białoń, Przyjaciół Żołnierza 50/9, 71-670 Szczecin, Poland, Tax ID PL8511597109.
For questions about data processing and exercising your rights, contact shiprepair@fitterservice.com.
02 / Local builder
Your draft stays in the browser.
The “Prepare email” builder processes the details you enter locally in the open browser tab. The website does not submit form fields to a server, save them in a database or localStorage, or send email messages.
Only selecting “Open email application” passes the prepared recipient, subject and body to your chosen application through a mailto link. You send the message yourself. Copy and download buttons place the text on your clipboard or prepare a local .txt file at your request. Your browser and email application may remember data according to their own settings.
Do not enter information unnecessary for defining your enquiry, particularly special-category personal data or confidential information about other people.
03 / Correspondence
When you send a message.
After receiving an email, we process contact details and information in the message and attachments to handle the enquiry and any resulting cooperation. Providing data is voluntary, but contact and technical details may be necessary to respond or perform a contract.
- GDPR Article 6(1)(b): steps at your request before entering a contract and performance of a contract to which you are a party.
- GDPR Article 6(1)(c): compliance with legal obligations, including accounting documentation where applicable.
- GDPR Article 6(1)(f): legitimate interests in handling business correspondence, contacting business representatives, and establishing, pursuing or defending legal claims.
Where necessary, data may be processed by email and IT service providers, parties supporting an assignment, and bodies authorised by law. Retention depends on the purpose of correspondence, the cooperation involved, legal obligations and the need to protect legal claims. There is no single fixed retention period stated for all messages.
04 / Hosting and preferences
Technical data, not an advertising profile.
The website uses Cloudflare hosting and infrastructure. Delivering and securing the website involves processing IP addresses, request and browser information, and technical logs. The controller relies on the legitimate interest in operating and securing the website under GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
Cloudflare operates globally, and processing may involve locations outside the European Economic Area. Provider information about processing, international transfers and safeguards is available in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
The website uses no visitor analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or its own cookies. The optional motion setting is saved locally in the browser under the key fs-motion. It is a technical interface preference with no contact details or user identifier, and the website does not transmit it to the server. It remains in that browser until changed or cleared with the site data; it is not limited to the current session.
Links to external websites open services governed by their providers’ policies. Their content is not embedded in the enquiry builder.
05 / Your rights
Access. Correction. Control.
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access to, correction, erasure or restriction of your data. Where applicable, you also have the right to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. The applicable rights depend on the legal basis and circumstances; legal obligations may limit the ability to erase data.
You may lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) if you believe processing infringes data protection law. Complaint information is available at uodo.gov.pl.
